Hidden Color - Messenger Bag & Passport Pocket (No. 402) Pattern only. These felted Messenger Bags and Passport pockets are based on the idea of hidden color. Each bag has a plain flap that hides a brightly colored design or stripe. And inside each bag is a vibrant passport pocket that can serve as a pocket for the larger bag or may be worn on its own. Both the Messenger Bags and the small Passport Pockets are knit in one piece. Straps are knitted separately then attached. Felted size for Messenger Bag 12 inches high and 18 inches in length. The Passport Pocket is 9 inches in height and 5 1/2 inches in length. Pattern Difficulty Level: Beginner to Advanced. Requires knowledge of knitting and purling, making I-cords, knitting on circular and double-pointed needles. Pattern uses Cascade 220 in four colors, color 1 and 2 two skeins each. Color 3, 6 skeins and color 4 1 skein.
