Holli Yeoh has created this design with little boys in mind. Casual Fridays like Dad? The self-patterning sock yarn used in the design creates a Fair Isle effect on the collar and sleeves which lends a real sophistication to this polo pullover. It's really warm and cozy for a spring or fall day. Pattern has instructions for: 0-6 mo, 6-12 mo, 1-2 yrs, 2-3 yrs. Yarn and Needles needed to complete 2 (2,2,3) balls (50g) solid 4-ply yarn (MC) 1 (1,2,2) balls (50g) self-patterning sock yarn (CC) (50g or a 1 3/4 oz skein = 210m or 229 yds). Buttons 1 (2,2,2) 3/8 (1 cm) buttons. Needles: 1 pair 2.5 mm (US 1 ) & 1 pair 3 mm (US 2 ) & 3 mm(US 2) circular needle, 16 and 3 mm double point needles. Gauge: 30 sts. and 42 rows to 4 (10 cm) Please note these are designed by a Canadian Holli Yeoh. So the needles are given in metric size, use the US needle size to obtain the gauge unless you have own the metric needles.
